Prep time: 35 minutes
Bake time: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
· 1 teaspoon of baking soda
· 1 teaspoon of salt
· 1 cup of salted butter
· 1 ½ cups of dark brown sugar, packed
· 1 teaspoon of baking soda
· 1 teaspoon of salt
· ½ cup of granulated sugar
· 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
· 2 large eggs
· 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
· 1 ½ cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
· ⅔ cup of crushed potato chips
· ⅔ cup of pretzels, crushed into small pieces
· 1 cup of toffee, crushed into small pieces
HOW TO MAKE
Step 1. In a standing mixer, cream the butter until smooth, then add the sugar. Continue mixing until light and fluffy, about 30 seconds. Add the egg and blend until fully combined. Mix in the vanilla, baking soda, and salt.
Step 2. Mix again, then gradually add the flour until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, toffee bits, crushed pretzels, and potato chips until evenly mixed.
Step 3. Scoop the dough into balls using a large ice cream scoop (5 tablespoon size) and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 4. Place the chilled dough balls on a nonstick baking sheet and refrigerate for another 20 minutes.
Step 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Arrange the dough balls 3 inches apart on a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 14-15 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. They’ll finish setting as they cool.
Step 6. If any cookies spread, use a slightly larger round cookie cutter to gently swirl around the edges and reshape them into perfect circles.
