Salomon and artist Uchida “Uchi” Ryunosuke connect once against with the fourth in a series of dynamic collaborations with the RX-ENRO, a sleek and minimal sneaker that blurs the realm of utility, style and a sense of nature.

Marking their latest connection, Salomon and UCHI are taking the RX-ENRO global with a wide release of the model after their previous shoe, the RX SLIDE 3.0 UCHI debuted last year in Kyoto.

Both brands are clear about their intent for the RX-ENRO, which is meant to exude the “meditative state of Japanese gardens.”

In turn, careful attention to detail is evident on the shoes, which is wrapped in a nature-inspired colorway and contrasting materials that easily integrate with the outdoors rather than disrupt. The shoe features low-profile slip-on construction with a breathable green 3D engineered open mesh along most of the upper and a full wrap of split suede leather that surrounds the entire silhouette — serving as a bridge to the midsole.

An OrthoLite insole provides ample cushioning, while thoughtfully place lugs on the outside ensure that grip is guaranteed in each step.

The RX-ENRO will be available on June 11 for $120 via Salomon.
