Asics has unveiled the newest member of the Blast family with a trail-focused that expands the company’s offerings away from the road with the Blazeblast.
The model is built around the next generation of trail runners and blends performance with technology as a Trampoline Pod construction in the forefoot is in place to increase the feeling of bouncing through each step.
The ride is set on a plush slab of FF BLAST Max foam along the midsole, while an engineered woven upper keeps the shoe feeling lightweight and breathable.
The ASICSGRIP outsole with 2.5mm lugs gives a confident sense of traction on a range of surfaces while the shoe sits high at 42mm at the heel with an 8mm drop.
The Blazeblast arrives on August 1 for $155 via Asics.
