Asics and Free People have connected on their first footwear collaboration with a pair of models under the FP Movement moniker as the custom version of the Gel-Nimbus 28 running shoe and Gel-Challenger 15 tennis shoe embrace performance under two distinct moments of the sun.

For the Gel-Nimbus 28, early runs as the sun rises are evoked in the plush daily trainer that pops with bright FF BLAST Plus midsole dipped in a balanced mix of orange and pink gradient, super light and breathable engineered mesh upper and PureGEL technology for effortless comfort in every step. Signature FP Movement charms “add an elevated, playful touch to this long-distance-ready pair” that also sports reflective details and HYBRID ASICSGRIP outsole with ASICSGRIP rubber to keep the model planted in place at any speed on the run.

Meanwhile, the Gel-Challenger 15 pivots to the intensity of tennis matches as the sun begins to set and a intentionally muted light clay colored upper is dotted with paisley print across the entire body of the shoe. The stability model is built for players who embrace the baseline but demand comfort. WINGWALL technology is generously placed in the sidewall to keep things stable during side-to-side movements while the Rearfoot GEL technology aids in shock absorption as the AHARPLUS abrasion-resistant rubber outsole stays grippy in a range of conditions.

Both models are available now, with the FP Movement Gel-Nimbus 28 running shoe arriving at $180.00 and Gel-Challenger 15 tennis shoe is $130.00 via Free People.
