District Vision unveiled its newly-opened retail flagship space in Los Angeles last week, with the store marking the first permanent location for the running and lifestyle brand in a location that also serves as a destination for the brand’s programming and activations.
Slotted in Downtown L.A. Arts District, the outpost is an extension of founders Tom Daly and Max Vallot’s goal to merge running, holistic mindfulness and broader mental health through performance.
The store will be multifunctional and exist as what the brand says is a “hybrid retail and research environment” that includes a hydration and coffee bar along side District Vision’s growing apparel, eyewear and footwear collections. The location was designed with SR Studio to emphasize a push toward Japanese architecture with hinoki wood accented displays, greenery native to California and vintage ceramics.
The District Vision flagship is open now Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 939 S. Santa Fe Avenue in L.A.
