Just days removed from a dramatic clash on the track and in the field in Stockholm, the Diamond League season roars in to Oslo for the Bislett Games on Wednesday, the sixth meeting of the year.

A stacked lineup will be headlined by teen phenoms Cooper Lutkenhaus and Gout Gout, while Julien Alfred, Letsile Tebogo, Karsten Warholm, Alison dos Santos and Emmanuel Wanyonyi will bring the brand of star power that will ignite Bislett Stadium.

After five meetings in over the past few weeks, many of the competitors have hit their stride as the circuit continues its tour through Europe.

Lutkenhaus and Wanyonyi will be joined by Marco Arop and Peter Bol in a stacked men’s 800m that will likely feature a second lap that will push the pace and go down to who is willing to surge from the start. In the men’s 200m, Gout will get a crash course in pure power as Tebogo and Jereem Richards are more than eager to lead him to the blocks and leave it up to the 18-year-old to find his way.

Alfred has the women’s 100m in her sights against Zoe Hobbs and Amy Hunt, as Grant Fisher drops into Oslo for the men’s 5,000m and faces Graham Blanks along with Isaac Kimeli, while Chase Jackson locks in on her upcoming battle in the women’s shot put with Sarah Mitton and Jessica Schilder waiting for the challenge.

The women’s 400m will feature Nickisha Pryce, Lieke Klaver and Amber Anning as Kurtis Marschall rides the wave of his upset over Mondo Duplantis in the men’s pole vault in Stockhom days earlier. Duplantis will not be in Oslo to avenge his unbeaten streak being broken but Marschall faces a strong group that includes Emmanouil Karalis, Zach Bradford and Sam Kendricks.
