The early season assessment was on display at Saturday's Shanghai Diamond League in Keqiao and the order of business was a flex of seven world leads in the women’s shot put, women’s 5,000m, men’s 3,000m, women’s 1,500m, women’s 3,000m steeplechase, men’s 300m hurdles and women’s 100m hurdles.
Keqiao Stadium got a taste of what the rest of the schedule will have in store as a mix of Olympic and world champions and record holders warmed up the stage as the series shifts to Xiamen next week.
