Brooks announced on Thursday that an enormous surge of sales in China helped push the brand to record revenue in 2025, its ninth straight year of growth.

The Seattle-based brand, which is a private subsidiary under Berkshire Hathaway, did not disclose specific dollar figures, but did reveal that sales rose by 16 percent over the same period in 2024.

“Running continues to gain extraordinary momentum around the world as more people choose movement as part of their approach to health and wellness,” Brooks CEO Dan Sheridan said. “Our opportunity ahead is incredibly exciting and I have great confidence in the entire Brooks global team. Following a record 2025, we enter 2026 energized by the innovations and programs we’ll deliver to runners and retailers worldwide.”

Globally, Brooks saw strong increases across its geographic regions last year, with North America up 13 percent, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) growing 22 percent while Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) soared 66 percent.

But China is where the brand has outperformed, with a massive 245 percent spike in sales.

Brooks also noted that ten of its footwear models saw 20 percent or more growth in 2025, including the Glycerin series, which
moved delivered 33 percent more revenue and a 27 percent increase in sales over the previous year.

And while the company continues to count on top selling nameplates like the Adrenaline GTS to be amongst its top performance running workhorses, the shift toward models like the recently-introduced Glycerin Flex tout newer innovations in light midsole foams and plush rides.

The company has been aggressive to start 2026, leaning into lifestyle footwear and staking its place in important segment that continues to embrace retro-flavored styles of running shoes. Brooks’ lifestyle offering were featured at the Paris Fashion Week 2025 and the brand had a presence at this year’s showing in January.
