New Balance unleashed the all-new SuperComp Rebel V1 on Tuesday with a lightweight, energetic model that takes the Rebel moniker and dials up the propulsion whether its on race day or a high powered training session.

Riding on a specially tuned version of the new Infinion foam that was introduced on the 1080 v15, this iteration of the midsole is built for max energy return and a comfortable ground contact while the FantomFit ultra-light, breathable engineered mesh maintains a secure (and lockdown) feel.

At 40mm stack at the rear and 36mm in the forefoot, fast and forward are the only directives of the new Rebel while four colors each for men’s and women’s sizes at launch mean that a touch of personal style will make the final checklist before the run.

The SuperComp Rebel V1 lands on August 6 for $199.99 via New Balance.
