Nike is taking a focused pivot into the training space with the reveal of the Hybrid RN and Hybrid Fly, a pair of models that lead the way for the wave of Nike Hybrid products that are built for the demands of training and performance for those gearing up for HYROX and similar competitions.
The Hybrid RN is an all round training shoe that rides on ReactX form for stable cushioning, gets propulsion from a single Air Zoom forefoot unit, is wrapped in a breathable mesh upper with lockdown straps in a X shape that should inspire confidence in every step or lift.
Meanwhile the Hybrid Run pulls the essence of road racing into a shoe that will feel familiar to hybrid athletes as a full-length ZoomX foam midsole means a responsive and plush ride while a carbon Flyplate brings energy return and stability. A pair of forefoot Air Zoom units provide even greater cushioning when launching into ever step and a dedicated four zone traction layout makes sure that staying grippy never leaves the equation.
The Hybrid RN launches on September 24 in China and October 8 globally while the Hybird Run will make its debut in April 2027.
