Mizuno is determined not to be left out of the conversation of the lightest, fastest and eye-catching supershoes in the arena and is putting rivals on notice with the unveiling of the Hyperwarp 96, which landed on Thursday.
The model ups the volume of the Hypewarp lineup and arrives with the new Enerzy XP+ designed specifically for the shoe, rides on a 39mm stack at the rear and and 36mm up front, is wrapped in a 3D-engineered lace-free spray-on upper (similar to On) and weighs a staggering 96 grams (3.4 ounces).
This shoe benefits from Mizuno’s revamped testing and development process where prototypes can be adjusted, improved and studied within 48 days of tester feedback and gives the brand’s design team the bandwidth to make quicker changes.
The Hyperwarp makes its first appearance during the Berlin Marathon this weekend and arrives globally on December 4 via Mizuno.
