blacktoes has connected with Asics on a unique take on the Superblast 3 that tits the high powered trainer into transformation mode with a model that will literally change its visual appearance based on the conditions around it.
This special edition Superblast 3 BT has the specs of its wide release sibling, sitting on a chunky 46.5mm stack of new FF LEAP foam that is merged with FF BLAST PLUS Eco foam at the bottom for shock absorption and structural durability. An 8mm drop at the forefoot pulls things down to 38.5mm and a reliable ASICSGRIP and AHAR LO rubber outsole ensures that the ride stays planted and securely on the road.
A lightweight engineered woven mesh upper keeps things breathable but blacktoes takes it in another direction by incorporating thermo‑reactive accents on several points of the silhouette, with the Asics logo changing with the temperature on top of a rich black colorway that is an immediate cue for the eye to follow.
The blacktoes x Asics Superblast 3 BT will launch in Shanghai on May 30 and gets a wider releasing in China on June 1.
