Diamond League revealed its 2026 calendar on Tuesday, with 14 meets and a final confirmed and closely resembles last season structure.

The 17th season of the series will begin on May 8 in Doha and stage events on four continents. And news of the confirmed dates and locations comes a month after the biggest names in track and field gathered in Tokyo in September for world championships.

According to Diamond League, the 2025 season welcomed around 400,000 spectators to a stacked calendar of meets, with next year’s slate likely to see the return of many of those were triumphant at Japan National Stadium.

For fans of the sports, the locations of next year’s season follows a very familiar patten, with cities like Shanghai, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm and Eugene all back for hosting duties.

The finals will take place in Brussels on September 4-5 before the debut of the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship on September 11-13 in Budapest as a loaded three day competition that comes during years with no Olympics or world championships.
