Through the Lens: Day 2 at the World Indoor Championships

The second day of competition at the World Indoor Championships on Saturday in Nanjing, China pushed the intensity even high than the first day of action, with several past winner retaining their titles — as other challengers rose to the occasion.

Grant Holloway and Mondo Dupantis both became winning of three straight titles, while Christopher Bailey and Amber Anning shifted the narrative in their favor with big wins. Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Freweyni Hailu dominated once again as Mujinga Kambundji proved that even a slim margin could produce a win.
