London Marathon 2026 finisher medal

Nearly 60,000 finishers will receive the medal that features the iconic Cutty Sark in its design and is made from recycled materials.

The London Marathon finisher medal got its official unveiling on Sunday ahead of the next major on April 26.

The design features an impression of the Cutty Sark, one of the main course landmarks that participants pass just after Mile 6. The inscription on the back of the medal reads, “Built in 1869, it was designed to be one of the fastest ships of its time.”

Nearly 60,000 people are expected to hit the roads of London in a week and will receives the medals, which are etched with a note that says they were made from 100 percent recycled zinc.
