New York City police search for missing British man
New York City police have launched a search for Jordan Butler, a British man who went missing a day before he was schedule to run last Sunday's New York City Marathon.

New York City police are looking for a British man who was in the city to run last Sunday’s New York City Marathon but never made it to the start after leaving his hotel early Saturday and did not return.

According to the NYPD, Jordan Butler, 40, was last seen around 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning leaving his hotel in Times Square. He was showing in an image provided by police wearing a black puffer jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Butler, who lives in North Willenhall, England, was reportedly scheduled to line up in Staten Island with nearly 60,000-record participants for Sunday’s race. His bib number, 45214, is listed on New York Road Runners race tracking website and displays “No Finish Time” next to his name.

He is described by police as a white male, with slim build, graying hair and blue eyes.
