Nike unveiled the next piece of its 2026 running lineup with the Pegasus 42, as a long-time workhorse in performance footwear gets a host of updates as it maintains its standing as a daily training staple.
The Pegasus 42 rides on a full-length Air Zoom unit with priority on energy return — 15 percent more than the prior iteration — as the new model balances support aided with ReactX cushioning on the run.
The sculpted silhouette sports a breathable upper that is light and hugs the foot with a molded sock liner.
The Pegasus 42 hits retailers on April 9.
