The next phase of the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL Collection broke cover on Tuesday with six additional colorways and new textures that are another dose of luxury for this fashionable lifestyle model that arrives as summer conveniently makes its arrival.
Kicking off the first two new servings are the white and an “Sienna” brown models finished in distressed perforated leather that feels soft to the touch and plush. The other four flavors arrive in calf suede in Forest Green, Cerise, Cocoa Brown and Beige hues.
The double lace treatment returns and all six models get distinct — and eye-catching — combinations in along their eyelets in an effect that provides contrast and a different take on texture that feels like standard issue individuality direct from the factory.
On the tongue, Miu Miu gets branding duties while the iconic New Balance “N” sits comfortably in its own space at the side of the upper as the company’s wordmark logo pops in at the heel collar at the rear.
Each shoe rides on a gum sole that feels tastefully retro, yet understated, with each new colorway (and previously released version) offering more than enough variety to be styled once an accompanying outfit gets final approval.
