Gavin Snider

The story of the New York City Marathon continues to evolve. And for the 2025 race, Brooklyn-based artist Gavin Snider was selected to revive the tradition of creating a poster that illustrated a runner-first perspective of a city awaiting nearly 60,000 explorers proudly showcasing their bibs.

Snider teamed with longtime collaborator New York or Nowhere to usher in the latest era of an original visual that tells a tale that goes beyond each mile marker, cheer zone, the push through the boroughs and clutching a medal that symbolizes a keepsake of the city.

In the latest episode of A Minute* With…, explore the tools, ideas and execution behind the story.
