Apple unveiled its next generation of smartwatches on Wednesday with the new Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 as both models boast upgraded features, case material finishes and batteries that last longer no matter the workout.
The Watch Series 12 gets a new Health Sensing System that Apple says delivers the most accurate heart rate sensing of any wearable, gets up to 24 hours under normal use and is more durable with a ceramic shield aluminum case.
Meanwhile, the Watch Ultra 4 gets up to 45 hours of battery life on GPS, gains more capable optical and electrical sensors for more accurate fitness tracking, handles rugged conditions with a titanium case and has refined real-time metrics that enhance even the most intense workouts.
Both watches arrive on September 19 and are available for preorder now. Apple Watch Series 12 starts at $399 and Watch Ultra 4 has a $799 starting price.
