On and Zendaya have teamed up again with an action film-inspired tease of their second collection that boldly puts “movement center stage.”
The Swiss sportswear maker unveiled the capsule and film on Thursday, with the actress shown wearing several of the new pieces as she fights her way through a chase scene on foot as a swarm of women match her blow for blow.
In one of the final scenes, as she makes her way to a building roof, Zendaya runs to a ledge, knows she’s outmatched and effortlessly falls onto a giant red airbag where she bounced before realizing she is safe. The film was directed by Argentinian directing trio Pantera and is a dedicated nod to classic action movies.
And the result playfully puts the co-created collection through its paces, showing how each piece moves naturally with the body.
“Each season we’re elevating everyday basics. With this collection, we had fun with a python print that acts like a modern camo,” said Zendaya.
The capsule was developed alongside Zendaya’s longtime collaborator Law Roach, who also appears in the film with a timely distraction that grabs the attention of the fighters.
“Our work with On has always been about pushing what sportswear can look and feel like,” Roach said. “For this collection we brought our personality and love of print to technical fabrics, designing pieces to make you feel good when you move in them.”
The capsule is punctuated with pieces like crew necks, sweatpants, a python print bodysuit, a form-fitting long sleeve top, half zip anorak and the Cloudnova Moon Mary Jane ballet flat, accessories and more. Over 50 items are included in the collection as On continues its pact with Zendaya that kicked off in 2024.
“Cinematic storytelling has been a cornerstone of our partnership with Zendaya from the start,” said Alex Griffin, On’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve always wanted to create work that goes beyond traditional advertising – building worlds that entertain, surprise and invite people in. This latest chapter takes that ambition somewhere new, while keeping movement at the heart of the story.”
The collection is available now via On and the brand says that customers in Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo and Chengdu can get an immersive look at the capsule and other new season styles at retail pop-ups in its flagship stores.
Meanwhile, the film and capsule continues a wave of momentum On has riden in recent weeks.
In late September, the company said it would pivot into golf, launch a share buyback program to repurchase $1 billion worth of Class A Ordinary shares and is plotting a nearly $7 billion revenue target for 2029.
That came shortly after On stunned the sports world by signing soccer superstar Kylian Mbappé, who departs Nike after 20 years. The company is turning to the sport as one of its next frontiers of product and market growth and also enlisted soccer legend Thierry Henry as its Director of Football role after mostly staying behind the scenes and guiding product strategy since 2025.
